After such a long time...

I continue to be wrong about my perception of my own abilities. For one, I thought that I could find the time and energy to go on blogging throughout my exams. I've seen some blogs go on growing throughout their owners' exams - they're really into this.

Blogspot is really my second attempt at blogging. I have an old blog at LiveJournal but that was mainly for, well, other things. And once I became aware that people are actually reading my blogs I get a bit too conscious about what I post. I mean, it's not like people are going to care or tease me about what I write, but still....

After two weeks of papers, first year is finally over. Some of the papers were absolute hell (I won't say which, though, but they involved transistors....). The second week of exams was madness as well, with 3 papers in 3 days. I got sick after the last of the three, and my jawbone started acting up again (Thanks God it's OK now and forever). A few others, like materials and circuits, were a bit anticlimatic because almost everyone held fears that they would be very, very hard indeed. I actually managed to avoid doing any calculations at all during the latter *phew*

After exams were done, it was DotA time! Hahahaha.... went down to Evelyn 2 nights in a row and played until the next morning 7 something. First night we even got kicked out of Willis Jackson - the warden was just doing his job but I thought he could have been nicer about it. No warnings, no posted rules, nothing. We were guilty of not keeping the noise down, but I still think he was being a bit harsh, considering we were using the common room.

Been very sleepy as a result, and we still have to go househunting. Today felt weird though as I was quite awake despite having slept only 5 hours in the past 48. I made some silly mistakes while viewing flats, though, like not taking enough pictures. I guess the photographer in me never quite woke up, haha.

It's time to hit the kitchen now... everyone else should be gone and I cna start making the biggest single meal of my year... a nice roast chicken dish I hope will be somewhat as good as eating out... it's certainly cheaper and with better quality chicken hahaha...

NEED FOOD!
