Today, in highs and lows:
High: An absolute feeling of relaxation when I woke this morning.
High: The weather this morning, sparsely clouded blue skies - beautiful!
High: A delicious garlic-baked chicken dinner followed by sweet potato 'tong sui' laced with ginger, mmmmm....
High: Improving my 'Evil' Sudoku time from 100 minutes yesterday to 55, and then 22 minutes.
High: Seeing my IQ score stay at ~140, same as 8 years ago. One part of me is not getting stupider as I age :)
High: Getting more freebies in breaks between studying, this time another batch of free SIM cards. Vodafone this time.
Low: Knowing that exams are less than a day away.
Low: Accidentally choosing the colour printer for my past year papers. All credits gone now. Ouch.
Therefore, today is a positive day! I have no right to be depressed if so many good things are happening. It's a shame I didn't think of this before, to pause a few minutes and count my blessings, even short term ones for the day.
It's a good feeling to take to the exam hall tomorrow.
