Today is officially the first day of my Christmas break. Overjoyed, over the moon, rejuvenated, happy..... My words on this blog are cold, flat and completely unsuitable for describing the feeling that I, as a slacker-geek, feel when holiday time comes.
Few things I want to do:
- Travel somewhere. The chances of going out of country are pretty remote, though; no more cheap flights as far as my searches have turned up. This is what one gets for planning travel at the last minute...
- Tidy up my stuff. This is a really pressing one. I am obsessive-compulsive about keeping my computer files organized and the hard disk defragged at least once a fortnight, yet my physical stuff is... everywhere....
- Take more photographs. According to many I'm good at this, but for some reason I'm never good enough for myself. Practise practise practise!
- Finish all the Night, Day, Twilight Watch books. Start reducing my 'to read' pile of novels into the 'read' pile.
- Do something new. Anything. Suggestions welcome.
Hmm, quite a long list after all, and really verbose.
