31 January 2008

Goodbye, January, Goodbye, my home.

31 January has come, we should have moved by now but it's been delayed, so it's been a blissful extra two weeks or so staying in South Ken before shifting to somewhere much, much further away.

I'm still not really packed yet. I know I have a lot of stuff but seriously, even as I pack it seems like a process that has no end. I've even thrown out some clothes. I have enough technological goods to fill a small crate, and I had some panic over packing my lens collection (consequences of LBA).

Thinking of the  moving, together with my general laid-back approach to uni (what a fall from those kiasu days in first year) have meant I'm not getting a great deal of work done.

I don't know why I just always feel lethargic these days; don't even feel like playing games, and music seems to be the only thing to bring me back up to calm.

Music is great. I love most types of it, except maybe heavy metal but that's because I can't take the sheer energy output of it most of the time. Really, if I could I'd happily listen to it. But slow, rhythmic and lyrical are the way to go for me now. I carry it around in a little Walkman, and it's my only company a lot of the time.

OK, end random ramble.
